When I don’t catch the last part of the explanation, I raise my hand and say, 'Could you repeat that, please?'

如果没听清讲解的最后部分，我就举手说：“您能再重复一遍吗？”
If a math problem seems unclear, I ask, 'Is it okay if I try explaining it back to make sure I got it right?'

遇到不清楚的数学题，我会问：“我试着复述一下，确认理解是否正确，可以吗？”
I often follow up with, 'So does that mean…?' instead of just saying 'I don’t understand.'

我常接着说：“所以这意思是……？”而不是直接说“我不懂。”
During group work, I might whisper to my partner, 'What do you think the teacher meant by 'feasible' here?'

小组讨论时，我可能会小声问同伴：“老师这里说的‘可行’是什么意思？”
The professor encourages us to phrase questions like, 'Would it be possible to see an example of that?'

教授鼓励我们这样提问：“能举个例子说明吗？”
Sometimes I write down key terms first, then ask, 'Can you spell that word for me? I want to note it correctly.'

有时我会先记下关键词，再问：“这个词怎么拼？我想准确记下来。”
When reviewing slides, I point and ask, 'Is this formula used only for linear cases, or does it apply more broadly?'

看课件时，我会指着问：“这个公式只适用于线性情况，还是适用范围更广？”
I’ve learned that adding 'Just to clarify…' at the start makes my question sound more polite and focused.

我学会了开头加一句‘为了确认一下……’，让问题听起来更有礼貌、更聚焦。
